Flockhart Ltd has developed this Privacy Policy in line with the requirements of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), the new data protection law that comes into effect across the EU from May 25 2018. In this Privacy Policy we explain how we collect, retain, process, share and transfer your personal data when you visit our site and use our services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to online websites or services that we do not own or control.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify and the payment platforms we use are PayPal and Shopify Billing. Shopify provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you. Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, database and the Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Your personal data will also be stored in our MailChimp account if you have subscribed to our mailing list.

What personal data do we collect?

When you provide us with personally identifiable information through this website, we respect your privacy. We will only use the personal information you provide when you fill in appropriate sections of our website to administer your account and to provide the products you have requested from us.

By providing information like your name, email address, postal address and telephone number you agree to us contacting you with regards to the information you have requested.

Payment: When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

Sample requests: When you make a sample request for us to send you samples of our fabric we will use this information to contact you on your request and provide you with the service to get the samples to you. Your information is stored on our internal database and also added to our MailChimp account if you opt in to our mailing list.

Subscribing to our website: You are opting in to our mailing list and your personal information will be used solely by us to send you information about new products, our news and other updates.

What do we do with your information?

If you provide us with your credit card information via the website, the information is processed by Shopify and if you choose will also be processed by PayPal. Shopify and PayPal are certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant.
